I'm enjoying this keyboard

I am sure there are other keyboards that are better value, but us Europeans who don't want to leave their ISO layout have limited choice, especially in the budget segment or if you are looking for specific layouts.

"Just get a Keychron", they say. So that is what I did. It feels comfortable to type on and is a lot quieter and also calmer sounding than my previous keyboard (not very difficult, it was the main reason I was looking for a new one).
I did find that some keys have a tendency to double-press, but setting up the debounce function in keychron Launcher fixed that. I also had to disable the virtual joystick in the device manager to prevent it from messing with a game's controller detection. Other than that, I didn't find any downsides so far. Probably none of these are unique to this keyboard. Swapping out keys is also very straightforward.

I decided to combine it with the Zuoya GMK26, ending up with a full set of keys but with more flexibility. I am very satisfied with my choices so far.

Great Keyboard for a Great Price

It's simply genius. It looks good, connectivity is great, and it is a pleasure to type on (red). I was really surprised by the sound; it's really good and exactly what I was searching for and you've got endless possibilities to modify it. Customer Service from MonacoKeys 12 out of 10.

I had a lot of keyboards, but this is the best

After endless research, I came across the Keychron V3 Max QMK/VIA Wireless keyboard (gateron brown) and I have to say that it is the best keyboard I have ever had. I thought that keyboard enthusiasts exaggerate how a keyboard should feel and sound. Now I understand better what it is all about.
Pro: it feels incredibly to type on. It sounds very good. Nothing wobbles or rattles.
Con: LEDs facing south. Depending on your angle, you may end up looking directly into a lit LED. But it is not that bad, I still like having the lighting on.
The keyboard is quite high due to its design (higher than my old mechanical keyboard). I think I will get a palm rest.
The shipping was really fast.

Gasket Mount Design

By adopting a gasket mount design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V3 Max reduces acoustic resonance, delivering a softer and quieter typing experience with enhanced flexibility.

South-facing RGB LED Lights

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.
