Substance Deskmat – XXL Mauspad
inkl. MwSt.

Beautiful and great quality
Beautiful and great quality.
Besides my keyboard addiction I seemed to have developed a mousepad addiction to.It’s refreshing to have one in the collection that isn’t a rectangle.

Print quality is really not that great, sadly.
I have bought the Mictlan version of this deskmat and am pretty disappointed with it to be quite honest. It might just be personal taste, but the mat is very slick, no texture at all, making it feel cheap and unpleasant.
I am currently using the Hi!Wiz deskmat and banana on my desks and both of those feel much more substancial, detailed and high-grade than this one.
But the colours are pretty picture accurate, so two stars for that.
Would not recommend or buy it again. Which is sad, because I really like deskmats that break out of the retangular formfactor.
Edit: It seems I have peculiar taste and was lucky choosing deskmats so far, therefore I added a third star, but I personally still don’t really like this kind of surface for my deskmats.

Hi Tim,
I'm sad to hear that you are not happy with the product. I've just checked various deskmats in our shop, but the quality is as it should be unless you have received a defective mat! The print quality on the mats in our warehouse is good and the finish is smooth as it should be.
Generally, the Substance deskmat is using the very common (Speed) Smooth finish that basically all Deskmats in our shop use. We currently only have one Deskmat, the Singularity in its Control Variant with Rough Deskmat texture in the Shop.
Most customers prefer the smooth finish as the mouse can be moved around more easily and your arms glide over the deskmat.
The HiViz and Banana Mats are using a Rough finish, that is true but it is quite uncommon for custom keyboard deskmats and usually is specifically stated in the product description if the final product will use a rought finish.
Best Regards
Michael
