Solid CNC aluminum case, integrated LCD screen with calculator function, rotary knob for volume and media, hot-swap PCB, and tri-mode connectivity — the ND104 combines the strengths of a daily driver with the typing feel and sound of a custom mechanical keyboard. Unlike the standard variant, we've specifically upgraded the ND104 for you:
- Multilayout PCB (1.6 mm, non-flex cut, hot-swap, tri-mode): supports both ANSI and ISO — you decide which layout fits you during the build
- Aluminum non-flex cut plate: crisp, precise typing characteristic with defined sound — also multilayout compatible (ANSI & ISO)
- Maiz × MonacoKeys PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers: factory lubed and pre-installed — no more rattling spacebars or wobbly shift keys
- WS Breeze linear switches: factory-lubed linear office switches that deliver the ideal balance of silky-smooth typing and quiet, clean sound — pre-installed at the factory

Multilayout: ANSI and ISO in one PCB
The multilayout PCB and multilayout plate support both ANSI and ISO. Whether you prefer a German ISO layout with umlauts and ß or rather type ANSI — you don't need to commit at purchase, you decide during the build (or even later, just by swapping the keycap set). Full flexibility, no compromises.
WS Breeze linear switches: lubed & installed
The WS Breeze linear switches are specifically optimized for office and productivity setups: a light, clean keystroke, factory lubed for silky typing and with a quiet, subtle sound profile — perfect for long writing sessions without annoying roommates or colleagues. Since the ND104 has a hot-swap PCB, you can swap the switches anytime for any 5-pin MX compatible switch as soon as you feel like trying something new.
Integrated LCD screen — more than just decoration
In the upper right corner of the ND104 sits an integrated LCD screen with three function modes:
- Calculator mode: A fully functional, freely configurable calculator app that can be operated directly from the keyboard — ideal for accounting, quick calculations, or power users
- Clock mode: Displays current time, date, and keyboard status (battery level, connection mode, Caps Lock status)
- Dynamic background mode: Upload your own images or GIFs and customize the screen individually
If you don't need the screen: no problem. It can be removed and replaced with switches and keycaps during the build — same goes for the rotary knob. That way, you can configure the ND104 entirely to match your workflow.
Rotary knob for volume & media
The pre-installed rotary knob sits directly below the screen and controls volume and media functions by default. It can be remapped via VIA — for scrolling, brightness, or application shortcuts, for example. The textured surface ensures a secure grip.
5-layer sound dampening & FR4 gold-immersion plate
The ND104 features a thoughtful acoustic construction: five layers of sound dampening made of plate foam, switch foam, PET acoustic pads, and case foam absorb vibrations and deliver a deep, clean sound profile — without hollow resonance, without metallic ping. In our edition, the FR4 plate is replaced by an aluminum non-flex cut plate that makes the sound profile crisper and more defined.
Hidden storage compartment
On the underside hides a clever detail: a magnetically closed storage compartment where you can stash the 2.4 GHz USB dongle, USB drives, spare switches, or small keycaps. The USB dongle always has a fixed home — no searching, no losing.
Tri-mode connectivity with massive battery capacity

The ND104 features RGB backlighting that emerges through the gaps between the keys in a subtle surround effect — no glare directly in your eyes, but a pleasant, immersive ambient lighting mood. Additionally, there's an underglow LED strip on the front that can be controlled separately.

The ND104 is configured via the web-based Chilkey configurator directly in your browser — no driver installation. Through VIA, you can remap every key, program layers and macros, reconfigure the rotary knob, and customize the RGB lighting and LCD screen.
