PBTFans 1984 Dark – PBT Keycap Set

Sale price€22,00 EUR 5.0

Tax included. Shipping from €3.90, free from €70.

PBTFans 1984 Dark is the dark sister of the cult-favorite 1984 set — a tribute to Orwell's dystopia rendered in deep, muted tones. Anthracite, slate grey, and contrasting highlight keys create a clean, technical look with literary depth.

The dye-sub process embeds the legends deep into the PBT material, ensuring completely abrasion-resistant printing with fine detail and clean edges. Cherry profile with a pleasantly textured surface and deep sound character.

Available in multiple kits for ANSI and ISO layouts including numpad and 40%. Compatible with all MX-style switches.

Variant: 40s

Good to know

  • •Surface: finely textured, feels rather smooth smootherrougher
  • •PBT: usually develops shine more slowly than ABS – how fast also depends on the texture. In return PBT is a bit more sensitive to scratches, e.g. from tools or fingernails.
  • •Dye-sub: the colour is dyed into a light keycap – legends don't rub off. Colours are usually not quite as intense as double-shot.
  • •Cherry profile: the standard for custom keycaps – a bit lower than the keys of regular office keyboards.
  • ✓Fits MX-style switches (Cherry MX and compatible)
  • ✓Includes German layout (ISO-DE)
