QwertyKeys keyboards: Neo series and QK models

QwertyKeys builds aluminium keyboards in two lines: the Neo series, mostly as barebone kits for your own build, and the QK models, which arrive fully assembled. Which line suits you depends mainly on whether you want to choose switches and keycaps yourself.

Neo: kits for your own build

The Neo kits come as 65, 75, 80 and 98% boards and as an Alice variant (Neo Ergo). The Neo65 Sonic HE+ uses magnetic Hall Effect switches. We ship barebones with stabilizers. Almost all Neo models connect via USB-C, 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth; only the Sonic HE+ is wired. You'll find the whole series under Neo Keyboards.

QK: fully assembled

The QK80 Mk2 (80%, ISO and ANSI) has a leaf spring mount that QwertyKeys developed together with Owlab and designed for rigidity. The QK100 Mk2 (98%) has a hardware switch for Windows and Mac. Both have an 8000 mAh battery and can be configured with the QK VIA Web Configurator, including display and LEDs. According to the manufacturer, the QK100 Mk2 lasts over 800 hours without lighting and displays; with full RGB and both displays it's about 40 hours.

Case, maintenance and spare parts

You open QwertyKeys' ball-catch cases without tools. Between PCB and daughterboard sit magnetic pogo pin connectors, so replacements need the manufacturer's original parts. Gaskets, case parts and more are under spare parts. How mounting systems change sound and feel is explained in our guide gasket mount and sound.

Finding the right size

Our guide keyboard sizes and layouts shows which format fits your desk and the way you work. Neo75 and Neo98 are available as kits with German ISO layout; Neo65 Core Plus, Neo80 CU and QK80 Mk2 are multilayout boards for ISO and ANSI. The brand also includes the keycap set QK Taro Balls in Cherry profile PBT. In-stock items ship from Germany within one business day.
