Nordic keycaps for ISO boards

Nordic keycaps carry the characters for Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. They are based on the ISO layout with a tall Enter key and an extra key next to the left Shift.

Which characters are included?

Swedish and Finnish share Å, Ä and Ö. Danish and Norwegian use Æ, Ø and Å – and swap Æ and Ø between them. That is why Nordic kits usually carry both legends on the affected keys ("pan-nordic"). One set then works for all four languages.

How the sets are built

Nordic is rarely a set of its own, but usually an add-on kit. At PBTfans it is part of the "International Kit", at KAP sometimes part of the International kit (Nordic). Exactly what is included is listed on the product page of the set. The base kit alone often does not cover the special characters.

Does it fit your keyboard?

• ISO board: Your board needs an ISO Enter and the extra key next to the left Shift. The Nordic keys do not fit an ANSI board.
• Profile and stem: As with every set, you should like the profile. More in the guide Keycap profiles.
• Operating system: Set it to the Nordic keyboard layout so the characters match the legends.
