Many of these sets are barely available afterwards or only at significantly higher prices on the aftermarket. Keycap group buy and preorder: secure limited sets

Here you'll find keycap sets you can get via preorder or group buy before delivery. Many are produced in a limited run, and after delivery they aren't always available again.

How a keycap preorder works

The sets carry the status Preorder or Group Buy, and the buy button reads "Preorder". The order period and estimated delivery are on the product page under delivery information. As soon as the set arrives with us, we ship it from Germany.

What to check before ordering

Profile: height and shape of the keycaps change look and typing feel, and not every profile suits every keyboard. Our guide keycap profiles gives an overview.
Material: ABS and PBT differ in feel and aging, more in PBT vs ABS keycaps.
Layout: check the set contents to see whether your layout (for example ISO-DE) is covered so all keys fit.

Status and alternatives

The status of running group buys is shown on the project updates page. Sets that are ready to ship are under keycaps, and all preorders are under preorders.

Tip: if you plan to combine several sets on one keyboard, compare their delivery information before ordering. That way you know whether the deliveries roughly line up.
