The Nexus is a 60% custom kit by Kezewa, designed by Nuxros – with a CNC-machined aluminium unibody case (or PC), accent elements and a fully customisable backplate: underneath the transparent cover, the inserts can be swapped out and fitted with your own designs.

The PCBSnap mounting delivers a pleasant typing feel and a first-class sound profile – compatible with nearly all 60% PCBs that place the USB-C port at the top left, from our MK60MX and GH60-standard boards to Wooting60 and Venom60 HE PCBs.

Available as case only (incl. FR4 plate) or as a bundle with a hot-swap PCB. Switches, keycaps and stabilisers sold separately.

Some of the keyboard cases have already been produced and are expected to arrive at our warehouse in October together with the MK60MX PCBs and the plates. The Nexus hot-swap PCBs, the separate Nexus plates and the Venom PCBs, as well as extra parts such as additional case feet and further keyboard cases, are still in production and will therefore ship at a later date.

Nexus – 60% custom kit with a customisable backplate

The Nexus is a 60% kit by Kezewa, designed by Nuxros – and it makes customisation the core concept: a CNC-machined unibody case with distinctive accent elements, a swappable, user-designable backplate and a mounting system that works with nearly all common 60% PCBs. Rather than locking you into fixed internals, the Nexus is the foundation for building your 60% exactly the way you want it.

Case & design

The unibody case is CNC-machined from aluminium and fitted with an aluminium weight; alternatively, a translucent PC variant is available. Two side accents and a front accent create deliberate contrasts and give the board its technical, angular look. The aluminium case alone weighs around 1.1 kg, the PC variant roughly 800 g.

The backplate: your design on the underside

The highlight sits on the back: the backplate consists of a transparent cover with inserts underneath that can be swapped and customised freely. Every case colour ships with a standard backplate in a matching pattern plus an additional image backplate. Kezewa provides complete dimension drawings, so you can cut and fit your own artwork or prints precisely. Every Nexus becomes a one-off – and can be restyled at any time.

PCBSnap mounting

The PCBSnap mounting delivers a pleasant typing feel and a first-class sound profile: the FKM snaps clip directly onto the PCB and rest on the bottom case – a soft, decoupled mount with direct, responsive feedback, entirely without screwing down the plate or PCB. Six PCBSnaps are included. Alternatively, the case can be used as a classic tray mount – though the required standoffs are not included and must be sourced separately.

Broad PCB compatibility

The Nexus is compatible with nearly all 60% PCBs that place the USB-C port at the top left – including our MK60MX with its matching MK60 plates, GH60-standard PCBs (DZ60 and others), Wooting60 PCBs and Venom60 PCBs. Hall Effect builds are possible too: the FR4 and aluminium plates from the kit are both MX and HE compatible, and matching Venom60 PCBs are available separately from us.

Our MK60MX brings per-key RGB and underglow LEDs, while the Nexus hot-swap PCB comes without lighting.

Hall Effect compatibility note

Hall Effect PCBs (e.g. Venom60 HE or Wooting60 HE) work exclusively with magnetic switches – mechanical MX switches cannot be used on them, and vice versa. If you build your Nexus as an HE board, you'll need magnetic switches and an HE PCB accordingly.

Who is the Nexus for?

The Nexus is for anyone who wants to genuinely shape their own 60% – visually and technically. The swappable backplate turns it into a canvas for your own designs, and the broad PCB compatibility allows everything from a classic GH60 build and RGB setups with the MK60MX to a Hall Effect gaming build with a Wooting60 or Venom60 PCB. If you already own a 60% PCB, the case-only variant is an affordable entry; if you want to get going right away, pick one of the hot-swap bundles.
