Coiled cables and USB-C cables for your keyboard
A keyboard needs little from its cable: USB 2.0 and 5 V. Still, the cable is the most visible accessory on your desk. Here you will find USB cables for your custom keyboard. Connector type, length and build quality are what matter.
MK custom USB cables
Our MK custom USB cables come in eight colours: black, white, light grey, dark grey, green, pink, purple and red. They have a silicone sleeve, solid aluminium connectors and a matte finish. There are USB-A to USB-C (2 m), versions with a detachable FEMO connector and USB-C to USB-C with 240 W power delivery. The cables are straight, so not coiled.
Coiled cable, spiral cable and aviator
A coiled cable is a cable wound into a spiral, often with an aviator detachable connector. The spiral is look and cable management, not function. Aviator connectors such as GX12, GX16 and FEMO do not fit one another. Our FEMO connector is a push-pull plug and not compatible with GX12 or GX16 halves.
What to look for
On the keyboard side you usually need USB-C. On cases with a recessed port, thick connector housings may not fit all the way in. If your computer only has USB-C, take the C-to-C version. A cable longer than about 1.8 m can make RGB boards flicker. It is best to plug the cable into the board and leave it there. More parts for your setup are under accessories.
