MW Fyrefly is inspired by Firefly from Honkai: Star Rail – a character whose story is about loss, new beginnings and the search for her own identity. Designer keepoto turns that into a calm, bright set where only a few keys light up.
The alphas are a soft mint green, the modifiers a light grey. Orange accents bring energy in between: the Enter key with a flame motif, the arrow keys and selected novelties. Dark novelties with white graphics pick up elements from the game. On a white or silver board Fyrefly looks fresh and clean; on darker cases the mint and orange stand out more.
Made by Milkyway from double-shot PBT – the legends are molded in and can't wear off; the colored motifs on the novelties are dye-sublimated. Cherry profile, and the NorDe kit covers ISO-DE, Nordic and UK. More sets are in our Cherry profile keycaps. Compatible with all MX-style switches.
Good to know
- •Surface: finely textured – not quite as smooth as KAP, but less rough than SWG or PBTFans Double-Shot smootherrougher
- •PBT: usually develops shine more slowly than ABS – how fast also depends on the texture. In return PBT is a bit more sensitive to scratches, e.g. from tools or fingernails.
- •Double-shot: legends and keycap colour are moulded separately – colours are cleanly separated and the legends stay crisp and readable even after years of use. The process with the most vivid colours.
- ✓Includes German layout (ISO-DE)
