KAP T.O.T is a tribute to the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum — the first true modern atlas, created in 1570 by Abraham Ortelius. The colorway draws from the elegant inks of early cartography and gives this Cherry-profile set a rare sense of character.

Special keys feature iconic buildings from the late medieval and Renaissance era, from China to the New World — every cap tells a piece of history. Built using the double-shot process in durable PBT with 1.7 mm wall thickness for rich acoustics and abrasion-resistant legends.

Available as a Base Kit covering US and Nordic layouts (ANSI / ISO-DE / ANSI-DE / Nordics), extendable with a Numpad Kit and two Novelties Kits (Top Dye-Sub & 5-Side Dye-Sub). Designed by Keepo, manufactured by Keyreative. Compatible with all MX-style switches.

•Surface: finely textured, feels smooth smootherrougher
•PBT: usually develops shine more slowly than ABS – how fast also depends on the texture. In return PBT is a bit more sensitive to scratches, e.g. from tools or fingernails.
•Double-shot: legends and keycap colour are moulded separately – colours are cleanly separated and the legends stay crisp and readable even after years of use. The process with the most vivid colours.
•Cherry profile: the standard for custom keycaps – a bit lower than the keys of regular office keyboards.

My first Keycap set

My first Keycap set. So nice.

+
+ (Nice design)
+ Comes with keycap-trays
+ Sharp fonts
+ Lot of different key options/variants

-
- no mac layout on modifiers
- some caps barely fitted on the switches cause the "cross" was not perfectly molded
- no 1.5 modifiers or function keys
- many keys with injection molding burr
- some keys hat slight scratches out the box

Regarding the mezzotint novelties I got extra (Thank so much to thesupport wich provided me with a set within 1 day albeight being sold out on the website. Unbelievable service!)

+ same feel as base set keycaps

-
- the motives on red caps are blurry or washed with the red colour
- the green keycaps have a slightly different green than the one from the base set
- the blue 1.5 modifiers have a different motive than shown on the render. Its buildings, rivers and sea not the dunes that are only printed on the beige keycaps

All in all I'm super happy with the set but would've expected more for the price. See photos for mentioned issues, although most were hard to capture (different green tones, washy prints on red keycaps).

Super Qualität

Dies ist mein erstes Keycap Set überhaupt deswegen fehlt mir ggf. etwas der Vergleich aber ich bin von der Qualität absolut überzeugt. Kamen als Ersatz für die Stadtrand Caps von meiner Bridge75 und sie verbessern den Klang nochmal deutlich! Sehr satt und rund!
Auch die kleinen Farbakzente gefallen mir sehr!
Großes Lob auch an MonacoKeys für den perfekten Service
