The KAP T.O.T Deskmat shows a world map in the style of early atlases – inspired by Abraham Ortelius' Theatrum Orbis Terrarum from 1570. At 900 × 400 mm it has room for both your keyboard and mouse.
At its center sits the oval “Typus Orbis Terrarum” map with a large compass rose, framed by ornate scrollwork. On the left a starry sky with a crescent moon rises above stepped pyramids, on the right a sunset glows behind pagodas, and a Latin quote from Cicero runs along the bottom edge. The muted cream, dusty rose, slate blue and dark brown tones go well with beige, cream or black boards.
The smooth speed surface lets your mouse glide easily, and the non-slip natural rubber base keeps the deskmat in place. The edges are printed rather than stitched, so the design runs right to the edge. More designs are in our deskmats.
