Nuxros +84 Classic TKL — the essence of the classic

The Nuxros +84 Classic TKL is the latest project in the Krush series by NuxrosKB — and stands for a clear, timeless aesthetic without unnecessary details. The goal: a pure, focused design combined with an acoustic profile that genuinely enriches everyday use. Building on the success of the Krush65, the +84 has been consistently refined through numerous iterations and material tests — until the result surpasses its predecessor in every aspect, both in feel and in sound.

80% TKL layout — the timeless form

The tenkeyless size has been a favorite of heavy typists, programmers, and office power users for decades. It keeps everything important — F-row, arrow keys, full navigation cluster — and only loses the numpad. The result is a keyboard with the perfect balance between functionality and desk elegance: full feature set, but significantly more room for the mouse than a 100% keyboard. The Nuxros +84 is implemented in classic WK layout (with Windows key) — familiar to most users and fully compatible with common keycap sets.

Three mounting options for three typing characters

One of the central features of the +84 Classic TKL is the mounting variety. You can swap between three different mounting methods depending on your preference and directly influence your typing character:

• Top mount — the classic, firmer mounting variant with precise bottom-out and a clear, controlled sound. Standard included.
• KeySnap — an intermediate mounting option that combines stability and flex in a middle ground between top mount and PCB Snap.
• PCB Snap — designed for maximum softness and flex, with characteristically "bouncy" typing feel. Particularly popular for sound tuning and pronounced soft typing. 8× FKM PCBSnaps in 60A hardness are included.

Important: The included aluminum plate is designed as a top-mount plate. It can also be used with PCB Snap — but for optimal acoustic results in PCB Snap configurations, NuxrosKB recommends a PCB-Snap-specific plate (sold separately), since the top-mount plate's tabs may slightly contact the case in PCB Snap mode — which can lead to unwanted "ping."

Plateless build possible

A special specialty: in combination of PCB Snap and a solder PCB, a fully plateless build is also possible — meaning without a plate. The result is an extremely flexible typing feel and a uniquely deep sound profile. Note: This option is intended for modding specialists, since it requires a separate solder PCB.

Wired hot-swap PCB in DE-ISO layout

We offer the +84 Classic TKL with the wired hot-swap BlackCore PCB in DE-ISO layout. This PCB variant has been deliberately designed for ISO layouts — not as a multi-layout compromise, but with south-facing switches for optimal acoustics:

• Hot-swap sockets for solder-free switch swaps — perfect for everyone who wants to experiment with different switches
• QMK and VIA compatible — you can remap every single key, record macros, and set up layers
• RGB underglow — subtle lighting on the underside of the case for stylish accents
• USB-C wired — direct, low-latency connection

Why south-facing switches? NuxrosKB deliberately decided against multi-layout PCBs for ISO and ANSI PCBs because north-facing switches can cause unwanted interference with Cherry-profile keycaps — and impair acoustics. The south-facing arrangement provides a cleaner, more consistent sound with all common keycap profiles.

We offer the +84 Classic TKL in the following seven color variants:

• Black (anodized) — the timeless, dark classic
• Raw aluminum — untreated, natural aluminum for an industrial, purist look
• Silver (anodized) — cool, elegant, neutral
• Night (anodized) — rich, deep blue-black with nocturnal character
• Grey (anodized) — neutral, professional grey
• Racing Green (anodized) — strong, richly muted green reminiscent of classic sports car paint design
• Burgundy (anodized) — warm, wine-red burgundy with elegant character

The package includes the aluminum plate (top mount) as standard.

External screws for clean acoustics

For the final version of the +84 Classic TKL, NuxrosKB removed the originally planned angled screws and replaced them with external screws on the bottom of the case — eliminating unwanted "pings" common in angled mounting systems. This makes the acoustic profile even cleaner and more controlled. Note: some renders and prototype photos may not yet reflect this change.
