Kraze — designed by NuxrosKB, manufactured by Kezewa

The Kraze is the latest project from Nuxros — over a year of design work, refined into a finished custom keyboard in collaboration with Kezewa (known for boards like the Enter67). The name reveals a lot about the philosophy: "Kraze" is a fusion of "Keyboard" and "Craze" — an expression of the enthusiasm Nuxros and the global custom keyboard community feel for mechanical keyboards. At the same time, the name hints at "Crazy" — a reference to the price-performance ratio and build quality you wouldn't necessarily expect from a keyboard in this class.

Six color variants — from understated to bold statement

We offer the Kraze in the following color variants:

• Ruby Red — rich, deep red with characteristic anodizing — the bold premium variant
• Vintage — warm, retro-inspired tone that pairs excellently with classic beige and cream keycaps
• Black — the timeless, professional classic
• RAW — untreated aluminum with visible CNC machining marks, industrial look
• Purple — bold, characterful purple
• Cloud Dancer — soft, light off-white with airy character

PCB Snap Mount — purpose-designed for the Kraze

The Kraze is consistently designed around the PCB Snap Mount — a mounting method developed by Nuxroskb in collaboration with GEON that has already established itself in the custom keyboard scene. While the Kraze isn't the first PCB Snap Mount build ever, it's one of the first keyboards designed from the ground up for this mounting method — every detail in the case, from the cutouts to the tolerance chain, is optimized for the PCB Snap Mount.

On the Kraze, the PCB Snap Mount is the replacement for the classic O-ring mount: instead of supporting the PCB via an O-ring between the case halves, it's directly "snapped" into the case structure. The result is its own sound and feel character with precise bottom-out, cleanly defined keystroke, and characteristically consistent acoustics across all keys — neither too soft (like pure gasket builds) nor too harsh (like classic top mounts).

Four PCB options — from classic to wireless

With the Kraze, you have a choice of four different PCBs — from the classic wired variant through Hall-Effect to our MonacoKeys-developed multilayout PCBs:

Nuxroskb hot-swap PCB (wired, classic)

The standard PCB from Nuxros — 1.6 mm non-flex-cut, wired via USB-C, with hot-swap sockets for solder-free switch swaps. VIA compatible for convenient key mapping in the browser. The solid foundation for classic custom builds.

GEON Venom65 HE (wired, Hall-Effect)

The Hall-Effect alternative from GEON — compatible with the Kraze and ideal for anyone wanting a modern magnetic switch setup with adjustable actuation point, Rapid Trigger, and low latency. Perfect for uncompromising gaming without giving up the custom keyboard experience.

MK65MX — developed by MonacoKeys (wired, ISO + ANSI multilayout)

A wired PCB developed by MonacoKeys for the Kraze — with full ISO and ANSI multilayout support. This is especially relevant for the European market: with the MK65MX, you can also build the Kraze in DE-ISO layout (with umlauts and ß) — an important advantage for everyone who doesn't want to switch their custom keyboard to ANSI. Hot-swap sockets, USB-C, VIA compatible. We also make the MK65MX available to other vendors.

MK65MXW — developed by MonacoKeys (wireless, tri-mode)

The wireless variant of our MonacoKeys PCB — tri-mode with USB-C, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth. Also with full ISO and ANSI multilayout support. This lets you use the Kraze in DE-ISO and wirelessly at the same time — ideal for setup changes, travel, or simply a tidier desk setup without cable clutter. Like the MK65MX, we also offer the MK65MXW to other vendors.

Premium aluminum with aluminum weight

The Kraze uses a fully CNC-machined aluminum case with a bottom weight also made from aluminum. This is a deliberate design choice by Nuxros to keep the keyboard more accessible in price than typical high-end customs with brass or copper weights — without compromising on build quality. The aluminum weight provides pleasant heft for stable footing without making the keyboard unwieldy.

Ergonomically thought-through dimensions

• Typing angle: 7° — standard ergonomic angle for long typing sessions
• Front height: 18.5 mm — moderate height, compatible with most wrist rests
• Dimensions: 313 × 109 mm — compact 65% format, fits on any desk

About the designer — NuxrosKB

Nuxros is one of the most well-known custom keyboard designers from the Vietnamese community and has made a name for himself with projects like the Krush65 for high-quality custom builds at fair prices. The Kraze is his most ambitious collaboration to date and continues the Krush65 concept — this time with a design specifically tailored for the PCB Snap Mount and even more refined craftsmanship. The Kraze is manufactured by Kezewa, known for premium builds like the Enter67.
