📄 Product Description
Kraze × MonacoKeys — the Kraze with full DE-ISO support
The Kraze is a 65% custom keyboard by Nuxros, produced in collaboration with Kezewa — and on this product page, you get it with our in-house MonacoKeys MK65 PCBs: either as MK65MX (wired) or MK65MXW (tri-mode wireless). Both PCBs were developed by us with a clear goal: full ISO and ANSI multilayout support for the Kraze — so you can build this exceptional custom board in DE-ISO layout (with umlauts and ß) without having to switch to ANSI.

65% layout — compact and workflow-friendly
The Kraze uses the popular 65% format — compact, but with preserved arrow keys and an additional column on the right with navigation cluster. Perfect balance between 60% and TKL layouts, ideal for heavy typists, programmers, and office workflows that don't want to give up arrow keys.
Wired or wireless — the choice is yours
Choose between the two PCB variants at checkout:
Wired - MK65MX Wired Hot-Swap PCB
The wired variant with USB-C connection:
- Per-key RGB LEDs — each key individually configurable
- QMK firmware with RP2040 chip (firmware source code will be released)
- VIA and VIAL configurable — key mapping, macros, and layers directly in the browser
- ISO + ANSI multilayout support
- 6.25U and 7U bottom row
- Split backspace, split left shift, stepped capslock
- EZMate connector — more precise and reliable than classic JST connectors
- Includes Unified C5 daughterboard with matching EZMate-to-JST-SH cable
Wireless - MK65MXW Tri-Mode Hot-Swap PCB
The wireless variant with full tri-mode connectivity:
- USB-C, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth — flexibly adaptable to your workflow
- Per-key RGB LEDs
- QMK firmware with STM32 chip (firmware source code will be released)
- VIA configurable
- ISO + ANSI multilayout support
- 6.25U and 7U bottom row
- Split backspace, split left shift, stepped capslock
- Includes matching daughterboard and batteries — the battery connection runs through the daughterboard

Maximum layout flexibility
Both MK65 PCBs support both ISO and ANSI layouts on a single PCB — with extensive multi-layout options:
- ISO + ANSI layout support — perfect for DE-ISO, UK-ISO, or US-ANSI
- Split left shift + big ANSI left shift — flexible depending on keycap set
- Split backspace + regular backspace
- Stepped capslock — for vintage and SA/MT3 keycap sets
- 6.25U and 7U spacebar — compatible with most keycap sets
PCBSnap mount — the Kraze as the first keyboard designed for it
The Kraze uses PCBSnap as its mounting option — a mounting method developed jointly by Nuxros and GEON to improve classic O-ring mount keyboards. PCBSnaps are therefore compatible with many other keyboards originally designed for O-ring mounting — however, the Kraze is the first keyboard designed specifically for this mounting style: every detail in the case, from the cutouts to the tolerance chain, is optimized for PCBSnap.
PCBSnap replaces the classic O-ring mount: instead of the PCB being supported by an O-ring between case halves, it's "clamped" directly into the case structure via the snap elements. The result is a distinctive sound and feel character with precise bottom-out, clearly defined keystrokes, and characteristically consistent acoustics across all keys — neither too soft (like pure gasket builds) nor too hard (like classic top mounts).

Six color variants
We offer the Kraze in the following color variants:
- Ruby Red — rich, lively red with statement character
- Vintage — muted, warm vintage tone
- Black — the timeless, professional classic
- RAW — untreated, natural aluminum with clear coating against oxidation
- Purple — strong, characterful purple
- Cloud Dancer — soft, light off-white

Plate options
The package includes the PC plate as standard — delivering a balanced, slightly softer typing feel with a warm sound profile that pairs excellently with the PCBSnap character. As optional add-ons, PP (maximum flex, very soft) and aluminum plates (firmer, more precise bottom-out) are also available.
Battery compartments — thoughtfully filled
The Kraze features two battery compartments in the case bottom. With the wired variant (MK65MX), 2 foam fillers for these compartments are included. With the wireless variant (MK65MXW), the batteries are installed instead of the foam fillers. If you want additional weight and a more planted feel, you can alternatively order the stainless steel battery compartment weights as an add-on.
Premium craftsmanship in detail
- CNC-machined aluminum case with aluminum bottom weight
- PCBSnap mounting — developed jointly by Nuxros and GEON; the Kraze is the first keyboard designed specifically for it
- 7° typing angle with 18.5 mm front height
- Dimensions: 313 × 109 mm
