I bought a Neo80 kit and an FR4 plate, but the kit was missing three brass pillars. Additionally, the FR4 plate from my batch came without the gold trim, and the screws wouldn't tighten all the way when attaching the PCB to the plate.

Fortunately, the team reached out to me directly and resolved everything. I received a warranty replacement for the brass pillars and other things, plus a free FR4 plate with the gold trim from an older batch. They even helped me improve the keyboard's sound profile by having me remove the screws that secured the PCB to the plate.
In the end, the keyboard is absolutely perfect for me, as I was aiming for a quiet build with tactile switches. In fact, if you install all the dampening foams, it actually turns out to be almost too quiet!

Thank you for your review and i'm sorry that you are not satisfied with your order.

The FR4 you received is from a different production round which was made without the golden outlines, the only other black plate would be an Aluminium Plate, but the difference is easily noticeable because the Alu plate has a metallic sound profile.

Generally, we recommend to not screw any of the plates to the PCB as it is not needed and will also improve the sound profile. Regarding your issue with the screws, i'll double check the plates in our warehouse next week to see if there are any issues, but usually screwing them to the PCB should work if wanted.

If you are missing any screws or accessory parts from your Neo80 order, please contact our support team - we will send you the missing parts free of charge of course. The accessories are pre-packaged from qwertykeys and while usually everything is perfect, there of course can go something wrong during production before the boards leave their warehouse. In any way, we have all the parts here in-stock and will provide replacements if needed!
