The wire glides instead of knocking

On classic PCB stabilizers the metal wire moves up and down as you type and knocks against the plastic – that's where rattle and wire wobble come from. The V3 guide the wire with a slider-crank mechanism instead: a slider in the stem pivots around a fixed point and the wire glides through it. Plastic and metal no longer hit each other directly.

There are no elastic inserts in the housing, every part is solid – so the bottom-out doesn't feel mushy. No metal touches the PCB during installation.

Clip in, screw down, done

You put the V3 into the PCB like clip-in stabilizers, then tighten a support screw from the top. It spreads the retaining clip so the housing sits as firmly as a screw-in – without flipping the PCB. They come lubed and tuned from the factory.

A tip from us: the included PTFE pads make the sound noticeably more muted and can keep the stabilizers from sitting perfectly straight. Try the stabilizers without the pads first.

In the set

The 6.25u and 7u stabilizers both come fully assembled, plus four 2u stabilizers. PTFE pads, shims for 1.2 mm PCBs, stem spacers for switches with up to 3.6 mm total travel, screws and a screwdriver are included too.
