The AEBoards Naevies EC Switches are the perfect solution for anyone who wants to combine the classic Topre-style typing comfort with the compatibility of the MX standard. These electro-capacitive switches were specifically designed to simplify the build process – no more hunting down rubber domes, springs, and sliders separately. Ideal for enthusiasts who want a unique, "thocky" typing feel without compromising on compatibility.

⚠️ Important compatibility note: The Naevies require an EC-compatible PCB (e.g. AEBoards' own EC boards). Not compatible with Topre plates, standard MX PCBs, or hot-swap boards. The domes are not interchangeable with Topre or other EC domes.

Great way to try EC
I used them in my Agar, and they’re great switches. I’ve never tried actual Topre before, so this was my first EC experience, but I’ve really been enjoying the Navies EC. They’re also a lot cheaper than getting an actual HHKB to try Topre. It's also easier to just get the Navies since they fit into the standard MX-Footprint.
