📄 Product Description
Athena 75 – 75% aluminium custom with LCD display
The Athena 75 is the more compact successor to the Athena 1800: a full-aluminium 75% board that puts looks and material quality front and centre. It takes its name from the goddess Athena, whose companion – the owl – runs through the design as a motif. A new button on the front right places direct control exactly where it's quick to reach.

Case & finish
The case is CNC-machined from 6063 aluminium alloy and finished with zircon sandblasting. It's available in premium anodised as well as ultra-fine sprayed finishes – striking a balance between a delicate touch and a refined texture. Compared to the 1800, the bottom features a fully engraved radial machined pattern: the intricately staggered lines replicate the natural texture of owl feathers, giving the underside a sophisticated, multi-dimensional depth.

RAW anodized finish (optional)
For the RAW variants the traditional sandblasting step is skipped to fully preserve the aluminium's natural metallic lustre. The subsequent anodisation enhances the raw texture and brightness for a pure, organic look – making every single piece unique.
Note on the RAW finish: the RAW version is anodised but uncoated. It preserves the original look of the machined metal including natural tool marks. Minor scratches, tool paths, small speck-like imperfections as well as variations in surface reflection or slight dark spots are inherent to the process and are not considered defects.
Small screen, big expression
The HD display holds up to five custom GIFs, which you can toggle through instantly via hotkey or the bottom-right key – turning every boot-up into a personal showcase. For custom GIFs: only 128×128 pixel GIFs are supported, with fewer than 31 frames for the indicator GIFs ("Typing" and "CapsLock") and fewer than 63 frames for all others.

Function meets aesthetics
The bottom right features an integrated RGB strip alongside a multi-function badge key. Pre-configured for GIF switching, it can be mapped to any key function. The module is CNC-machined from full aluminium and colour-matched precisely to the bottom case.
Details from within
Both the internal weight and the internal cover plate are crafted from stainless steel with a refined machined texture. Even the hidden internal structures are held to strict standards of precision machining and polishing – the build quality carries right through to the inside.

Mounting & typing feel
The Athena 75 offers two mounting styles for different preferences:
- Optimised top mount: the mounting points are deliberately placed away from the spacebar area to minimise resonance and hollowness – for a more uniform, satisfying sound signature. Silicone dampeners additionally decouple the plate physically from the upper housing, mitigating resonance conduction at its origin.
- PCB silicone gasket mount: a similar support distribution to the top mount, but tuned for a maximally soft, bouncy and flexible typing experience.
Combined with the solderable PCB, the board can also be built plateless – the option for maximum flex and a particularly deep sound profile.

PCB options
All PCBs are 1.6 mm thick, non-flex cut, use USB-C and support VIA, VIAL and AVA. Choose from a solder PCB, a hot-swap PCB or an RGB hot-swap PCB.
Important layout note: the plate of the plate-mount stabilizer version does not support ISO Enter, split backspace, 7U spacebar or split left shift. If you need any of these layouts – in particular ISO Enter for German layouts – choose the version with PCB-mount stabilizers.

Who is the Athena 75 for?
The Athena 75 is for enthusiasts after a high-quality 75% board with plenty of character – from the LCD display and the freely mappable multi-function button to the machined owl engraving on the bottom. With a choice between top mount and PCB gasket mount, four plate materials and the option of a plateless build, the typing feel can be tailored broadly – from a firmer, defined keystroke to a soft, flexible bounce. A board for anyone who values looks, material quality and customisation in equal measure.
