KCHv1 Glitch – White PBT Keycap Set
Tax included. Shipping from €3.90, free from €70.
KCHv1 Glitch looks as if something slipped during printing – and that's exactly the point. Designer EloquentClicks puts blue legends with a slightly offset pink shadow on bright white caps. It's like a picture glitch on an old CRT monitor or a 3D image without the glasses: from a distance a clean white set, up close a little glitch on every key.
Because every cap is white, Glitch suits almost any case – on gold, silver or white the board looks bright and friendly without being boring. The legends stay easy to read despite the offset; Enter, Shift, Tab and Backspace carry arrows, the other modifiers are spelled out. You can add the matching Glitch deskmats in Dark and Light right away.
Made by Keyreative from dye-sub PBT, about 1.5 mm thick, on the KCHv1 molds – Keyreative's Cherry profile, which feels a little smoother and sounds deeper than the newer KCHv2 mold. More sets in the same profile are in our Cherry profile keycaps. Compatible with all MX-style switches.
Good to know
- •Surface: balanced – right between smooth and rough smootherrougher
- •PBT: usually develops shine more slowly than ABS – how fast also depends on the texture. In return PBT is a bit more sensitive to scratches, e.g. from tools or fingernails.
- •Dye-sub: the colour is dyed into a light keycap – legends don't rub off. Colours are usually not quite as intense as double-shot.
- •Cherry profile: the standard for custom keycaps – a bit lower than the keys of regular office keyboards.
- ✓Fits MX-style switches (Cherry MX and compatible)
- ✓Includes German layout (ISO-DE)
