The Caramel Pudding V2 clearly sets itself apart from many other HMX linears – with a creamy, medium-pitched thocky sound profile and surprising depth. What makes it special is the new stem design: HMX uses its first-ever waffle stem tip here, deliberately changing the contact between stem and housing to deliver a fuller, more controlled sound. The bottom-out feels firm without ever turning harsh, while the travel stays smooth throughout thanks to HMX's new Gen 3 factory lubing. A strong pick for anyone after a linear with character and a deeper, rounder sound rather than the classic HMX clack.
