The successor to the popular KD200 – and a new contender for the title of "clack king" in HMX's lineup. The KD400 combines an M1 strengthened POM stem with the N3 bottom housing for the first time, keeping the switch firmly in classic HMX clack territory while giving it a noticeably deeper, fuller sound profile than many of its brighter HMX siblings. The L3 mold with a slightly larger gap between stem and top additionally delivers a particularly smooth travel. Anyone who loves classic HMX clack but wants a bit more depth and substance in the sound is in the right place – a strong pick for lively, audible builds with real character.
