Keygeek Y2X Linear Switches (10pcs)

The Keygeek Y2X is the upgrade to the Keygeek Y2: designed by MZ Studio, made by Keygeek, factory-lubed and tuned all the way for a deep, clean thock. Compared to the Y2 it feels a little smoother and sounds even deeper and thockier.

Sound

The sound is concentrated and clean, with little extra noise distracting from the actual thock. Top and bottom housing are made of transparent PA12 – that carries the focused sound character and keeps the travel smooth. Most of the deeper sound, though, comes from the new stem.

U8 stem instead of U5

The U8 stem builds on the UPE-based U5 material used in the Y2. It delivers a more concentrated, deeper sound, a better rebound and keeps unwanted noise at bottom-out more in check.

Feel and weight

We carry the Y2X with a 53 gf bottom-out (48 gf actuation, 22 mm single-stage spring) – the same forces as the Y2, so a balanced, medium weight. With 3.6 mm total travel it's a long pole with a short, defined keystroke. Thorough factory lubrication gives you even, long-lasting smoothness straight out of the bag and helps with noise control too.
