MK Black on Grey – PBT Keycap Set
Tax included. Shipping from €3.90, free from €70.
MK Black on Grey is minimalism in its purest form. Black legends on dark grey caps create a subtle, sleeper-friendly look — ideal for keyboards that win through restraint rather than flash.
Dye-sublimation on durable PBT material makes the legends fully abrasion-resistant and gives the set a matte, refined surface. Cherry profile delivers ergonomic typing with a clear, full sound signature.
Available with text and icon modifiers for ISO-DE and ANSI-DE layouts. Compatible with most standard mechanical keyboards and all MX-style switches.
Good to know
- •Surface: rather coarse texture, not that smooth smootherrougher
- •PBT: usually develops shine more slowly than ABS – how fast also depends on the texture. In return PBT is a bit more sensitive to scratches, e.g. from tools or fingernails.
- •Dye-sub: the colour is dyed into a light keycap – legends don't rub off. Colours are usually not quite as intense as double-shot.
- •Cherry profile: the standard for custom keycaps – a bit lower than the keys of regular office keyboards.
- ✓Fits MX-style switches (Cherry MX and compatible)
- ✓Includes German layout (ISO-DE)

Nice grey shimmer, good thock and good customer support
No print errors visible. No quality differences between caps in my set. In person and in the right light, the grey caps shimmer ever so slightly, most likely the surface texture rather than the dye itself. Either way, I like them a lot. On my modded Keychron Q16 Max (tape mod, GATERON Chocolate Full POM Smoothie switches, GATERON INK V2 stabilizers, Kilmat dampening) it gives a really good thock.
Sadly, the 1 keycap from the number row was missing from the set, but the support team responded to my email immediately, even on the weekend. That's customer support!

Produkt 1A - Kundenservice perfekt!
Tolle, hochwertige Keycaps. Leider hab ich sie falsch bestellt. Monacokes hat aber zum Glück einen Top Kundenservice. Dagegen kann sogar Amazon einpacken :-)
