The "Raindrop" Sound — not marketing speak, but engineering
Wobkey paid special attention to the internals of the Rainy 75 Pro. Five layers of sound dampening made of Poron, EPMD, and PET ensure every keystroke delivers exactly the same rich acoustics — no hollow resonance, no metallic ping. The result is a unique sound profile Wobkey calls the "Raindrop Sound": a pleasantly marbly, deep thock that makes typing meditative.
CNC 6063 aluminum case with gasket mount
The entire case is machined from a solid block of 6063 aluminum — sturdy, cool to the touch, and rock-solid on your desk at nearly 2 kg. Inside, a flexible FR4 plate with flex cuts rests on soft gaskets. This construction absorbs hard keystrokes, reduces fatigue, and creates a pleasantly cushioned typing feel.
Kailh Cocoa switches — factory lubed
The Pro version comes with Kailh Cocoa Linear switches — factory lubed for silky-smooth, consistent typing. They're the heart of the signature sound and, combined with the double-shot PBT keycaps, deliver unmistakable typing comfort. Thanks to the hot-swap PCB (5-pin MX compatible), you can swap them out for different switches anytime — no soldering iron required.
