The Sonja HC is intentionally tuned differently from typical HMX switches. Instead of maximum smoothness, it offers a slightly textured, subtly scratchy feel that is closer to classic Cherry linears. This creates a more characterful and controlled typing experience. Sound-wise, it remains relatively clean with moderate presence. Ideal for users who want that “old-school” feel.
