The MW Mass80 turns a classic 80% TKL keyboard into a next-generation interactive input device. The highlight: a 3.4-inch IPS touchscreen integrated directly into the keyboard's function area — delivering features that go far beyond what classic mechanical keyboards offer. Combined with a high-quality CNC-machined aluminum case, a magnetically swappable front panel, and an acoustically thought-through gasket-mount system, the Mass80 becomes the centerpiece of any thoughtful setup.

The centerpiece — interactive 3.4" touchscreen

At the top of the Mass80 sits a 3.4-inch IPS touchscreen with 480 × 480 pixels and 60 Hz refresh rate. The display isn't just a show element — it's a real interaction tool:

• Display useful information: time, date, system status (CPU, RAM, battery of connected laptop, etc.), weather, notifications
• Music control: cover art, track info, play/pause/skip — directly from the display
• Productivity widgets: Pomodoro timer, counter, to-do list, weekly overview
• Customizable themes: change the visual appearance of the display depending on mood or setup color
• Gesture control: swipe for volume, track change, zoom — control the keyboard like a smartphone
• Virtual navigation keys: displayable directly on the screen, for additional macros or quick access to frequent functions

The display transforms the Mass80 from a pure input keyboard into a full-fledged workflow tool — and offers features otherwise only delivered by dedicated macropads or external Stream Decks.

Magnetically swappable front panel (M-Panel)

Another design innovation of the Mass80: the M-Panel — a magnetically attached front panel that you can swap in seconds. This lets you adapt the keyboard's appearance to different setup moods without replacing the entire keyboard. The package includes the standard M-Panel matching the chosen case color — additional variants can be purchased separately as accessories.

The Mass80 is available in an impressive color variety — sandblasted and anodized for a matte, premium surface:

Three layout options: WK, WKL, and HHKB

We offer the Mass80 in three different 80% layout variants — each in both ANSI and ISO (including DE-ISO):

• WK (with Windows key) — classic 80% layout with Win/Cmd key, familiar to most users
• WKL (Winkeyless) — layout without Windows key on the left side, a beloved classic in the custom world for a clean, symmetrical appearance
• HHKB — Happy Hacking Keyboard layout variant with reduced bottom row, where Linux/Unix power users and Vim users feel right at home

Gasket mount with multi-layer foam kit

Inside works a gasket-mount system in combination with a multi-layer foam kit for vibration-free, clean typing feel:

• Plate foam between plate and PCB — reduces hollow, rattly sound
• PCB foam beneath the PCB — eliminates resonances from inside the case
• Case foam in the lower case area — minimizes sound transmission to the desk

The result: a cushioned, "bouncy" typing feel with a clear, clean sound profile — perfectly tuned to the heavy aluminum case.

Plate options — from FR4 to brass

By default, the Mass80 comes with an FR4 plate delivering a balanced typing feel with medium-deep sound. Optionally, additional plate materials are available as accessories:

• Aluminum — firm, precise bottom-out with more pronounced acoustics
• Carbon fiber — light and with characteristically crisp sound
• Brass — heavy, with a deeper, fuller sound

Hot-swap PCB with ESP32 P4 and QMK/VIA support

The 1.6 mm hot-swap PCB uses the modern ESP32 P4 MCU — which not only powers the keyboard but also drives the touchscreen display and its associated widgets. Fully QMK- and VIA-compatible — you can remap every single key, record macros, set up layers, and tailor the board exactly to your workflow.

The USB-C connection is the only connectivity option — the Mass80 is a wired keyboard, since the display and display features require a constant data stream with the host PC.
